The Story of the Stone

Maybe I read this in too short a time, but I just didn’t like it as much as Bridge of Birds. The plot seemed complicated instead of intricate, and the characters and setting were not as refreshing as the first book. Think I’ll take a break before starting the last of the trilogy.
